Training Objectives
1.1. General Objectives
In the Applied Informatics major, you will work with lecturers who have good professional qualifications, are dynamic and enthusiastic, and constantly update new technologies.
In addition, the IT faculty closely cooperates with the Japanese company Sun Asterisk to design and implement a curriculum aimed at training programmers with the knowledge and skills to meet the requirements of Japanese IT companies.
The training program includes subjects focusing on knowledge in:
- Algorithmic design and software design thinking
- Application and game development for smartphones
- Application development on computers and Web applications, CMS WordPress
Furthermore, students during the course of study participate in scientific research activities, attend training classes on entrepreneurship, and participate in professional seminars with leading technology experts regularly organized at Hue Industrial College. Students are equipped with skills in teamwork, searching, research, and problem-solving skills in the field of Information Technology.

1.2. Specific Objectives

- Possess knowledge of programming languages Java, PHP, and web design
- Knowledge of applied graphics
- Project analysis and design
- Knowledge of application and game programming on smartphones from basic to advanced
- Know how to analyze business problems, build systems modularly. Be able to implement large projects;
- Skills
- Data analysis and design skills.

- Skills in completing small projects following the company model
- Consciousness, Attitude:
- Acquire basic knowledge of Marxism-Leninism; Ho Chi Minh’s ideology on the nation’s patriotic tradition, the Vietnamese working class, the leading role, and the policies of the Communist Party of Vietnam during the period of industrialization and modernization; Have awareness and know how to preserve and promote the tradition of the working class; know how to inherit and promote the cultural identity of the Vietnamese nation; Understand and implement the rights and obligations of citizens of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam;
- Cultivate self-motivated learning to improve qualifications and successfully complete assigned tasks;
- Cultivate good working consciousness and attitude, be proactive, creative, highly responsible; maintain a pure and healthy lifestyle, and possess an industrial demeanor.
- Acquire basic skills and training methods in physical education and sports to protect and enhance health, and improve fitness for studying and working in the professional field;
- Acquire basic knowledge and skills in the National Defense and Security Education program; organizational discipline and self-awareness in fulfilling the duty to protect the Fatherland.
