STEM Education Program Training Conference
On November 15 and 16, 2019, at the Hue Industrial College (HueIC), the Department of Education and Training of Thua Thien Hue Province in collaboration with HueIC organized a STEM Education Program Training Conference for nearly 400 managers and teachers of high schools in Thua Thien Hue province.
HueIC trainers conducted the training on the following contents: STEM Education and Education 4.0, STEM - Robotics: ARDUINO IDE Software, Manual Robot Programming via Android, Robot Automatic Programming. The training took place in the Hall and practice rooms of HueIC. Students participating in the training program will practice directly on the university's modern computer and robot system.
According to Mr. Ton That Vien Tuong, Head of Secondary Education Department, Department of Education and Training of Thua Thien Hue Province, this is a meaningful professional activity, especially in the era of industrial revolution 4.0 today. In the coming time, the provincial Department of Education and Training will strongly deploy STEM Education in high schools in the area. This is an important content in the implementation of the Prime Minister's Directive No. 16 / CT-TTg of May 4, 2017, on Enhancing the capacity to access the Fourth Industrial Revolution (also known as industrial revolution 4.0), to proactively seize opportunities, offer practical solutions to make the most of the advantages, while minimizing the negative impacts of the industrial revolution 4.0 on Vietnam of Education and Training Department of Thua Thien Hue Province.
