HueIC launches “Community Support 2025” activity series for post-flood recovery in Hue City
Hue Industrial College (HueIC) was not only affected by the recent historic flooding but also stood as a pioneering force, joining hands with local residents to overcome these hardships. Even before the floodwaters had fully receded, the College urgently undertook recovery efforts while simultaneously launching a meaningful series of activities titled “HueIC – Community Support 2025”.
The program is being implemented in collaboration with the Hue City Youth Union, the City’s Rapid Response Team, and numerous organizations and individuals in the automotive and motorcycle sectors from neighboring localities, such as Dong A University (Da Nang), among others

1. Free Maintenance and Repair for Flooded Motorbikes Starting from the afternoon of October 30, 2025, on the college campus, this activity quickly attracted significant attention from the public.
The College is also coordinating with the automotive specialist team to receive and assist with flooded car cases within its technical capabilities.
Approximately 1,300 motorbikes were received by 18:00 on October 31, 2025.
400 vehicles have been fully serviced, ensuring operational safety.
Over 1,000 vehicles are continuously being processed by the technical team around the clock (day and night).
Support services include: Checking electrical systems and engines, oil changes, cleaning air filters and brake systems, and providing consultation on post-flood maintenance…
2. Free Repair of Electrical, Electronic, and Refrigeration Appliances Time: November 01 – November 03, 2025 at Hue Industrial College (70 Nguyen Hue, Hue City).
Residents can bring their damaged appliances to the college for inspection and technical restoration, helping to minimize property losses following the natural disaster.
3. Mobile Teams for On-Site Repair of Refrigeration Appliances in Deeply Flooded Areas Starting from 13:00 on November 01, 2025, mobile teams were deployed to severely affected zones, providing direct assistance to households unable to transport their appliances to the campus
Upcoming Planned Activities
- Distributing medicines and providing preventive health consultations to approximately 500 households.
- Raising awareness on post-flood environmental sanitation, providing guidance on treating organic waste and water sources, and preventing disease outbreaks.
- Providing financial support and daily necessities to 100–200 severely affected households and disadvantaged students.
The College will continue to update information regarding the implementation of these activities in the coming time.
