The Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Khoa Điện – Điện tử) is one of the key specialized faculties of Hue Industrial College (HUEIC), playing a crucial role in training high-quality human resources for the industry. With a history of formation and development paralleling the 120 years of Hue Industrial College (formerly known as the School of Civil and Industrial Arts – Trường Bá Công), the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering has continuously innovated and improved training quality to meet the demands of the modern labor market.
The Faculty currently offers a diverse range of training programs at both college (Cao đẳng) and intermediate (Trung cấp) levels, focusing on the fields of electrical engineering, electronics, and automation. Key majors include:
- **Control and Automation Engineering Technology** (**Công nghệ kỹ thuật điều khiển và tự động hóa**): Equipping students with knowledge and skills in designing, operating, and maintaining automatic control systems in industry.
- **Industrial and Civil Electricity** (**Điện Công nghiệp và Dân dụng**): Specialized training in the installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical systems in industrial and civil works.
- **Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology (Transferred under Japan KOSEN standard)** (**Công nghệ kỹ thuật điện, điện tử (chuyển giao theo chuẩn KOSEN Nhật Bản)**): An advanced training program transferred from Japan, focusing on modern electronic engineering technologies.
- **Industrial Electricity (International key major – transferred from the Federal Republic of Germany)** (**Điện công nghiệp (ngành trọng điểm Quốc tế – chuyển giao từ Cộng hòa Liên bang Đức)**): High-quality training program based on international standards, transferred from the Federal Republic of Germany, emphasizing practical application in industrial environments.
In addition to training, the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering actively participates in scientific research and international cooperation activities. Notable achievements and activities include the manufacturing of **ROBOTs for medical use**, demonstrating the capability to apply high technology in essential fields, as well as promoting the establishment of a Korean Language Training Center, expanding learning and working opportunities for students in an international environment.
