HueIC alumni for the community

On July 16, 2021, Hue Industrial College (HueIC) issued Plan No. 324/KH-CDCNH on organizing the "Returning Day" program for alumni and students for the first time in 2021. According to the plan, the college is expected to establish a volunteer team of alumni and students to carry out community support activities in Huong Huu commune, Nam Dong district, Thua Thien Hue province.
Activities such as giving gifts to students on the occasion of the new school year 2021-2022 and the Mid-Autumn Festival; repairing household electrical equipment and maintaining motorcycle oil free of charge for people; cultural exchange with local youth union members. In addition, former students and students participating in the volunteer delegation will organize a meeting and visit the school's training facilities. In addition, they also called for establishing a HueIC Aspiration Scholarship Fund to give to HueIC students and staff who are active and energetic Union officials. The program is expected to take place on September 18 and 19, 2021, to celebrate the 122nd anniversary of the establishment of the school (September 12, 1899 - September 12, 2021).

This is the first time the College has organized community activities for alumni. This activity has practical significance in connecting generations of HueIC students; simultaneously, it contributes to spreading the spirit of HueIC to the community. HueIC has also organized many volunteer activities for the community among students. There are many traditional activities such as voluntary blood donation, community support associated with the school's training professions, green volunteering, and summer volunteering...

In addition to the support from alumni and other fundraising activities, the university also wants individuals and businesses to participate in volunteering activities in general and community support activities in particular. At the same time, contributing to helping localities still facing many difficulties and children, lonely elderly, poor households, people with meritorious services to the revolution, poor students and studious students...
